I am a UK registered Nutritional Therapist (University of Worcester), a Health Coach (Institute for Integrative Nutrition) and a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Using the functional medicine approach to health, I work with clients to achieve their health and wellness goals by looking at the whole body as a system and investigating the root causes of a condition rather than addressing only symptoms.
Having started my working life in the pharmaceutical industry, a dissolution set in as to the efficacy of ‘conventional medicine’ in a world where chronic disease is ever increasing. I have since discovered that a positive approach to food and lifestyle has the potential to heal us.
Before becoming a nutrition professional, I spent many years in the corporate world, where I experienced burnout firsthand. That perspective shapes my approach: practical, realistic support that meets people where they are.
With my own recent ADHD diagnosis - and challenges with perimenopause at the same time as raising a small human and working full-time - I experienced burnout which I didn’t even notice happen.
As I have implemented natural and ‘food-first’ ways to overcome my own health challenges, and the experience of several years of study and practice, I want to help people to become healthy and happy through offering evidence-based nutritional therapy, empowering people to make informed choices about food and lifestyle and to live a balanced and vibrant life.
I am also a certified Vinyasa yoga instructor (RYS 200) and passionate about movement and breathwork to support lifestyle changes.
